Health & Safety

Staying safe on the water.

Abel Tasman Kayaks is an adventure tourism business based in the South Island of New Zealand. With the safety of their kayakers being a critical part of their business, they needed an IoT solution to track and alert when kayaks were outside of defined safe zones.

Abel Tasman selected the StreamVue Zone package, with our secure StreamVue web portal, enabling them to comply with health and safety regulations and keep their adventurers safe.

“Teaming up with IoTStream to develop what we believe is a first of its kind, tracking system for kayaks in a coastal environment, has been absolutely awesome. This technology will take our business to a new level of safety and service, and ultimately is a tool that will become industry standard.” JACK KELLY, OWNER, ABEL TASMAN KAYAKS

Asset Management

Reducing man hours and downtime.

Stevenson Resources owns and operates two quarries servicing customers in New Zealand, producing well over three million tonnes of aggregate annually when markets are in full swing.

Stevenson implemented our Stream solution to capture remote engine hours, on dump trucks in their quarries and stream the data into their asset management system. Accurate data capture reduces man hours and vehicle downtime.

“We’re really excited to be moving a traditional industry forward with IoT and automation technology.” ANTHONY BITOSSI, CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER, STEVENSON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS LTD

Supply Chain

Keeping food safe.

HLP Controls distribute an extensive range of measurement, monitoring and control equipment to the food, medical and electrical industries.

HLP selected the StreamVue Sense package, with our secure StreamVue web portal and sensor data, to provide their customers with temperature monitoring that complies with health and safety regulations.

Parking

Turning space into revenue.

Parkable, the Airbnb of parking, connects parkers to people or businesses with available space.

IoTStream worked with Parkable to develop an access control device using our Stream solution. Customers are now able to open access-controlled car park gates directly from the Parkable app with no access card required.

Parkable’s IoT parking devices are enabling individuals and organisations to monetise their available parking facilities and implement surge pricing.

Cities

Transforming glass into solar energy.

ClearVue PVs patented technology allows visible light to pass through glass, while deflecting the invisible wavelengths of light to the edges of the glass where they are converted into electricity.

ClearVue chose StreamVue Sense to capture data and provide an interactive view of the solar energy generated and savings achieved.

By transforming glass structures into massive solar panels, ClearVue generates power where it’s needed. Sustainable and innovative power generation that adds efficiency to transport, agriculture and mobile devices.
